News reports yesterday stated that an elderly personal mobility aid (PMA) rider was taken to hospital after his mobility scooter collided with a taxi on Saturday. The 73-year-old male rider was attended by paramedics and taken to the hospital.
Facebook user Norr Amira posted a comment saying that the PMA rider was her grandfather. She said he was crossing the road using the pedestrian crossing when the green man was lit, but was hit by the oncoming taxi.
Let's all hope the injured rider will be OK, and wish him a speedy recovery.
